Joseph 'Joe' Wayne Burton III

Joseph "Joe" Wayne Burton III, 36, Monrovia, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 in his residence.

He was born on May 16, 1978 in Indianapolis, to Joseph Burton II and Jeannine (Bastin) Woodley.

Joe graduated from South Putnam High School in 1996.

He was a hard worker having been employed as a driver and service repairman for the past 16 years at Coca-Cola in Speedway.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and playing video games with his children. Above all, Joe provided and cared for his loving family.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Colleen (McBride) Burton; children Taylor and Tyler Burton of Monrovia; mother and stepfather Jeannine and Tim Woodley of Stilesville; sister Heather Sugars (husband Mike) of Martinsville; mother-in-law Jeannie Mason of Clermont; and father Joseph Burton II of Florida.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at Light Memorial and Funeral Chapel in Monrovia, with calling to begin at noon at the funeral home. Rev. Steve Ransom will officiate the services.
