Jessica Frances Jones-Williamson

Jessica Frances Jones-Williamson, 31, Greencastle, died at her home on Monday, March 30, 2015 around 12:15 a.m. after a courageous four-year battle against cancer.

Born on March 21, 1984, to Joanna Monds Crum (husband Greg) of Cloverdale and Brett Jones of Greenwood, both of whom survive.

Jessica grew up in Cloverdale, and was a 2002 graduate of Cloverdale High School.

She worked at Walmart Distribution Center in Greencastle for several years.

She married her husband, Lance Williamson, in August 2012, and he survives.

Jessica loved the Lord and she was an active member of Croy's Creek Congregational Christian Church in Reelsville.

Survivors include her daughters, Promise Eden Williams and Zoey Leigh Williams, and a son, Vincent Williamson; her siblings, Rachel Frye (husband, Christian), Edward Sanders, Nate Jones and Ryan Crum. She had a cousin that she considered a sister, Hannah Gilley (husband Kevin).

She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Jerald and Fran Monds, and her paternal grandparent, Linda Jones.

Her paternal grandfather was Jerry Jones and he preceded her in death.

She had many aunts, uncles, and cousins to whom she was very close. Jessica was a very family-oriented person who loved to be surrounded by her loved ones. She also had many close friends that she considered family.

Jessica will be remembered as a strong Christian woman who wanted everyone she had contact with to come to the Lord. She was a giving and selfless person, who continually thought about the needs of others. She would often say that relationships on earth are the most important thing, and people should spend a lot of time nurturing them.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 3 at Croy's Creek Congregational Church, 8921 W. CR 1050 South, Reelsville, for family and friends.

A memorial plot will be established at Croy's Creek Cemetery in Reelsville.

The family has established an educational fund for Promise and Zoey where contributions can be made to First National Bank in Greencastle or Cloverdale and designated to the Promise and Zoey Williams Scholarship Fund.
