United Way to 'Light up the Night' April 23

The annual meeting of the United Way of Putnam County is scheduled for Thursday, April 23 at the Bainbridge Community Building.

The 6-8:30 p.m. event will include a silent auction with dessert and program to begin at 7 p.m.

Sponsored by DePauw University, the event also features a social hour from 6-7 p.m. with heavy hors d'oeuvres provided and a cash bar.

United Way members will be celebrating the 2014-15 campaign and discussing fundraising efforts, honoring board members, partner agencies and the new Real Men Read program.

Two annual awards will be presented, Director of the Year and the Shining Star Award.

Cost of the evening is $15 per individual or $115 for a table of eight.
