State Road 42 bridge closing

CLOVERDALE -- The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that State Road 42 will close on or after Tuesday, April 7 for a bridge deck overlay project.

The 60-day closure is for the bridge over Mill Creek, located nearly three miles east of U.S. 231.

The roadway is scheduled to reopen June 8.

CLR Inc. was awarded the $517,646 contract. The bridge deck overlay contract is scheduled for completion Sept. 25.
