Tough night for Eagles

It was a tough day on the South Putnam diamonds when Cascade came to visit for the first of the two softball and baseball games.

A slow start for the softball team made it difficult for the Lady Eagles to mount a comeback despite two late scores. The Eagle softball team lost 9-2.

The baseball team did not fare much better. Another big inning from the opponent put the Eagles in a difficult position and they took the loss 11-1 in five innings.

Each team will visit Cascade tomorrow for a chance at payback.
