Fred Ray Britton

Fred Ray Britton, age 68, of Fillmore, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015.

Born April 7, 1947 in Rockville, he was the son of Howard and Marjorie (Riddle) Britton.

Fred was retired, having worked at Futurex, Harrison Steel, Happico, Turkey Run and Greencastle Community Schools and the Watering Hole, Fillmore.

He was an avid bowler and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Tamera (Huller) Britton; sons Fred Joseph Britton, Brian Britton and fiancée Heather Woolery, James "J.C." Sutherlin, Josh Sutherlin and Joe (Angie) Sutherlin; a sister, Phyllis Thomas; and a grandson, Jeremy Sutherlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Britton.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
