Sprucing up the benches in front of the main entrance at Greencastle Middle School, members of the GMS Student Council continue a project of beautifying school grounds while raising money for Riley Children's Hospital. Once the benches have been repainted purple, the Student Council will be allowing classmates to leave painted handprints on the benches for $2 per handprint or three for $5. Taking part in the project the other morning -- under the watchful eye of sponsor Ande Warren (back, center) -- are students (from left) Seelye Stoffregen, Emmy Huber, Lauren Hopper, Lilly Meyer (in pink), Ivy Wright and Kensie Bumgardner.
