CHS softball wins one before rainout

The Cloverdale softball team improved to 10-3 on the year in the first game of the Owen Valley Invitational 3-1 against Linton Saturday. However the second and championship game was called due to rain and has yet to be rescheduled.

Lauren Meek got the win with two strikeouts, no walks and no earned runs.

At the plate Hannah Long came up big with two singles and Cloverdale benefited from RBIs from Kiley Shedron, Makayla Westell and Dinah Bunch.
