Kristen Ann Rumple

Kristen Ann Rumple, 29, of Worthington, entered eternal life, May 1, 2015 in Mokpo, South Korea.

Kristen was born July 9, 1985, in Bloomington to Kenneth Rumple and Cindy Walters.

Kristen had been in Mokpo, South Korea, teaching English since September 2014.

She graduated from White River Valley High School in 2003, and Indiana State University with a degree in elementary education and music.

Kristen was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, where she was baptized Dec. 8, 1996. She had been director of Vacation Bible School and assistant director of music at Freedom Baptist Church.

Kristen is survived by her sister, Sarah Jo (Rumple) Holt, Worthington; nephew Kane Holt, Worthington; grandmother Marilyn (Vest) Walters, Worthington; aunt Julie (Scott) Walters-Jones; two cousins, Karalyn and Alison Jones; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cindy (Walters) Foote, and her grandfather, Carroll Walters.

Friends may call at Freedom Baptist Church 2-5 p.m. Sunday, May 17.

Memorial services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday,May 17 at Freedom Baptist Church with Tim Moran officiating.

Private family burial will be at a later date in Worthington Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Kristen Ann Rumple Memorial Fund @ First Financial Bank, Worthington or Freedom Baptist Church.
