SR 75 closing June 8 for bridge work near North Salem

NORTH SALEM -- State Road 75 will close on or after Monday, June 8 (revised by INDOT) for a bridge replacement project south of North Salem, the Indiana Department of Transportation has announced.

The project will replace the bridge over Ramp Run, located a little more than 2.5 miles south of State Road 236.

The roadway is scheduled to reopen on Aug. 29 of this year.

George R. Harvey and Son Inc. has been awarded the $1.69 million contract.

The official detour follows SR 75 south to U.S. 36 east to SR 236 west and back to SR 75. Traffic traveling in the opposite direction will use the same detour in reverse.
