Danville's Gospel Fest 2015 to feature the Overtones
Danville United Methodist Church will welcome the Overtones Gospel Quartet to Ellis Park on Saturday, June 13 for Gospel Fest 2015.
The Overtones -- featuring John Derby, brothers Auggie and Paul Pence with lead singer Levi Riggs -- have made music together for eight years with the goal of sharing their faith and being role models for youth.
They have traveled the United States as they praise the Lord in song, as well as singing in the Philippines and Romania.
The four young men have been described as "talented singers who harmonize beautifully, wonderful Christian men and great guys who are fun to be with." Learn more about them at overtonesquartet.com.
The gates open at 5 p.m.
Other attractions include the Kids Activity Zone, an arts and crafts marketplace and the food court, including Court House Grounds and Pizza Paradise.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Ellis Park's Martin Amphitheater to make the evening complete with inspirational Music.
Former Colts player Jim Sorgi will be the emcee for the evening. Sorgi will also share information on All Pro Dads.
Advance sale tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 for children under 12 may be purchased at Danville United Methodist Church www.danvilleumc.org, Huntington Bank and North Salem State Bank. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate for $15 for adults and $5 for children.
Tickets from last year's rained out concert will be accepted.
In addition to purchasing tickets, picnic tables may be reserved. Gold tables are $40, with silver tabels for $30 and bronze tables for $20.
Anyone not reserving a table can feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
