CERT training at Robe-Ann Park Wednesday

Sunday, June 14, 2015

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be hosting a training session at Robe-Ann Park Wednesday evening.

Captain Russ Evans said several volunteers will be at the park between 6 and 8 p.m. for search and rescue training. A mock command center will be set up for the training.

Evans noted the volunteers will be identifiable in green vests that say CERT, wearing ID tags and have whistles.

People in the park at that time should not be alarmed, as this is just training, he noted.
