Fillmore Council to meet to discuss unsafe structures

FILLMORE -- The Fillmore Town Council will meet in a special session at 7 p.m. Friday.
The special public meeting will take place at Fillmore Town Hall, 2 N. Main St.
The council will be continuing a discussion started at the Thursday, June 4 meeting regarding unsafe homes in the town. The hope is to begin the process of having such structures cleaned up or demolished.
In addition to Town Council members Alan Jones, Curt Leonard and Meridith Trusty and Clerk-Treasurer Paul Alleyn, the discussion is likely to include Town Attorney Mary Russell and representatives of the Putnam County Health Department.
