Noah Helton

Noah Helton, 75, Spencer, passed away on June 14, 2015 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

He was born on Aug. 27, 1939 in Beverly, Ky. and was the son of the late Bob Helton and Hazel (Lawson) Helton.

He married Maggie Lois (Abney) Helton on Feb. 17, 1979 and she survives.

He is also survived by sons David J. Helton and wife Donna of Indianapolis and Lester Helton of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; stepdaughters Kathy Rich of California and Pamela Roberts of Noblesville; stepson Tom Cherry of Greenwood; sisters Myrtle Roark, Mildred Halcomb, Irene Gardner and Freda Good; brothers Jerry Helton and Richard Helton; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was a certified pipefitter for General Motors Truck and Bus in Indianapolis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Joe Helton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 19 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 18 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Clayton Cemetery.
