Celebrate July 4 with music at Robe-Ann Park

Seven musical acts of live entertainment will take the stage as part of the Independence Day celebration Saturday, July 4 at the Bob Flanigan Bandshell in Greencastle's Robe-Ann Park.

The event headliner will be the band 800-lb. Gorilla.

Entertainment will begin at 2:15 p.m. and continue with 800-lb. Gorilla taking the stage at 8 p.m.

The fireworks show is slated for dusk, which is expected to occur at approximately 10 p.m.

The complete list of performances for Saturday, July 4:

-- Mongrel Dogs, famous for their soul-billy music of blues-infused rock and country, 2:15 p.m.

-- Cord Watkins, 2014 Putnam County Star, 2:30-3 p.m.

-- Cowboy Casanovas, country rock n' roll band with iconic hits from both genres and today's hot top 40 country, 3:15 - 4:15 p.m.

-- Dance Workshop performers, 4:30 p.m.

-- Ron Dye (of Mongrel Dogs), 5:45.-6:30 p.m.

-- Blue Side Up featuring Steve St. Pierre, Dennis Rivers and Jerome Mills with blues/R&B/rock offerings. 6:45 -7:45 p.m.

-- 800-lb. Gorilla, a college-rock jam band with funky grooves and top-shelf musicianship and vocals, 8 p.m.
