A Special Donation

Friday, June 26, 2015
Putnam County Comprehensive Services sent 43 athletes to Indiana State University on June 12-14 to compete in the Special Olympics. The local athletes competed in bocce, horseshoes, track, volleyball and bowling. Participation in the event was made possible in part by support from Greencastle Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 4388, which donated $1,000 to the local Special Olympics. On hand for the donation, in addition to a number of the athletes were (standing, left) Ron Luther and Rick DeVylder of the Eagles, (front) Terry Gruenholz of the Eagles, Anita Edenfield of the Special Olympics and Darrell Runnells and Randy Huff of the Eagles.
