Lieber to celebrate Smokey's 71st birthday Saturday

CLOVERDALE -- Everyone is invited to help Smokey Bear celebrate his 71st birthday on Saturday, July 18 at Lieber State Recreation Area.

The party starts at 1 p.m. at the nature center and will include games and other activities.

The party is free after paying the standard entrance fee of $7 per in-state vehicle and $9 per out-of-state vehicle.
