Hashtag Student Film Festival session Thursday

Friday, July 17, 2015

The Putnam County Public Library invites students entering grades 8-12 to enjoy pizza and an informational session about the 2016 Hashtag Student Film Festival on Thursday, July 23 from 4-5 p.m.

The festival is an opportunity for students to use their writing, directing, filming, editing or acting skills to create something unique to share with the community.

Prior experience with film is not required to participate in the festival, and teamwork is encouraged.

The one-hour informational session will be an opportunity to share ideas and meet potential collaborators. Parents and teachers are also invited to attend as mentoring students through the film-making process is encouraged.

In order to ensure there is enough pizza, RSVP to 653-2755, ext. 120 at the Local History Department of the Putnam County Public Library or email abarger@pcpl21.org.
