Putnam Scanner for 7-25-15

County Jail

Two people were taken into the custody of the Putnam County Jail recently.

* At 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, Chester Thomas Smith, 21, Indianapolis, was booked in for reckless driving, neglect of a dependent, resisting law enforcement and criminal recklessness.

* At 7:36 a.m. on Friday, Samuel Andrew Robertson, 35, Spencer, was lodged at the jail for receiving stolen property.

City Fire

* At 5:26 p.m. Friday, GFD investigated a carbon monoxide alarm at 311 Medic Way. Upon arrival it was determined the cause was a malfunctioning detector.
