Tom was a farmer, truck driver, a school bus driver and loved all animals, especially dogs and birds.

He retired from Ames 4K Farms in Fillmore.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge, currently in Brazil, for 49 years.

He truly loved and was loved by all of his family and friends. He was the beginning of four generations of "Thomas" Hood's, so his name will live on. He never met a stranger and will always be remembered by his quick wit, smile and silliness.
