Bethel Baptist to host Operation Pakabakpak at Deer Meadow, Ridpath

Tuesday, August 4, 2015

Volunteers from Bethel Baptist Church will distribute more than 500 backpacks and school supplies Wednesday evening as part of Operation Pakabakpak.

The event will take place at Deer Meadow and Ridpath primary schools from 4:30-6:30 p.m. during the schools' meet your teacher night.

The backpacks and supplies are available to all students regardless of need. It is simply an outreach Bethel has undertaken for the community.

The Fillmore church has been providing supplies to Fillmore students since 2010, including giving out 130 backpacks during last week's South Putnam registration.

This is the first year for Greencastle schools.

The supplies will be available in the gymnasium of each school.
