County Jail

* At 1:36 a.m. Friday, Randy Scott Haltom, 42, Greencastle, was arrested on a warrant.

* At 8:50 p.m. Friday, Richard James Thomas, 39, Roachdale, was arrested on a probation violation and possession of a schedule substance.

* At 9:15 p.m. Friday, Charity Jane Weaver, 36, Cloverdale, was arrested for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and a warrant.

* At 1:21 a.m. Saturday, Brannon Keith Leonard, 40, Cloverdale, was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

* At 10 p.m. Saturday, Michael Alan Wilson, 35, Martinsville, was arrested for operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction and two counts operating while intoxicated.

* At 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Alyssa Michelle Napoleon, 20, Terre Haute, was arrested on a warrant out of Vigo County.

* At 1:53 a.m. Sunday, Daniel Scott Hayes, 57, Greencastle, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and a warrant.

* At 2:21 a.m. Sunday, Ronald Dean Flaurr, 54, Crawfordsville, was arrested for nonsupport of a dependent.

* At 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Nicki Marie Davis, 28, Greencastle, was arrested for theft, possession of a syringe and possession of marijuna.

* At 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Destiny Cheyenne Conover, 19, Cloverdale, was arrested for theft and possession of paraphernalia.

* At 2:24 p.m. Sunday, Renee Lee Capps-Duncan, 33, Greencastle, was arrested on a warrant.

* At 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Michael Lee Bell, 22, Poland, was arrested for failure to appear.

* At 9:40 p.m. Sunday, Mackenzie Paige Ross, 25, Greencastle, was arrested for intimidation.

* At 9:50 p.m. Sunday, Dustin Shannon, 27, Cloverdale, was arrested for domestic battery.

* At 7:10 p.m. Monday, Nathan Anthony Hoffman, 27, Adel, Ind. was arrested on an Owen County warrant and for resisting law enforcement, possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Sheriff's Department

The Putnam County Sheriff's Department responded to one recent property-damage accident.

At 11:42 p.m. on Friday, Paula Y. Mayberry, 68, Coatesville, was southbound on County Road 725 East in a 2012 Ford SUV when she approached the stop sign at County Road 600 North. Daniel G. Coronell, 53, Terre Haute, was also southbound in a 2011 Ford Mustang.

Mayberry told Deputy Stevie Smith she came to a stop and began to turn left onto 600 North when Coronell's vehicle rear-ended her.

Coronell told Deputy Smith he began to slow as he approached the intersection but misjudged the distance and rear-ended the vehicle.

Mayburry's vehicle was minimally damaged and she drove it from the scene. Coronell's vehicle was disabled and had to be towed.

Damage was listed at $2,501-$5,000.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department assisted with two medical calls and responded to several other dispatches recently.

* At 1:12 a.m. Sunday, GFD investigated a fire alarm at 1 Taylor Place. The room in which the activated alarm was located on the alarm panel, but the department was unable to determine the cause. It was reset.

* At 10:55 a.m. Monday, GFD assisted Cloverdale Fire Department with a vehicle fire on U.S. 231, north of County Road 700 South. The department helped to extinguish the fire.
