Volunteers from Bethel Baptist Church set up tables to donate backpacks and school supplies to students at Deer Meadow this week during meet the teacher night as part of Operating Pakabakpak. Organizers brought 350 backpacks to Deer Meadow as students made their way through the line. Volunteer Cortney Miller helped Sarah Martin, 5, picked out a pink backpack from the large stack to prepare for kindergarten.
