FOP to host benefit golf scramble

Sunday, August 9, 2015

Police know how to have fun, too.

One way they can show their fun sides is to not only host a golf scramble that is open to the public, but to use the proceeds for a worthy cause such as the Indiana Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors.

Saturday, Aug. 29 will mark the beginning of the Fraternal Order of Police's (FOP) annual golf scramble, taking place at Clover Meadows Golf Course located at 1999 E. County Road 1100 S., Cloverdale.

Lodge 92 will kick off the day with registration beginning at 11 a.m.; the "shotgun start" (tee-time) will follow registration immediately at noon.

The cost is $55 per person, or $220 per team, with all proceeds benefitting the Indiana Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors.

Registration forms can be downloaded from fop92golf.com, or they can be picked up at the Greencastle Police Department. Currently, there are hole-sponsor slots still available for $50 per hole.

For more information, contact the Greencastle Police Department at 653-3100.
