Jackson Riley Whitaker

Jackson Riley Whitaker, 13, of Roachdale, passed away suddenly on Wednesday. Aug. 19, 2015.

He was born on July 4, 2002 in Danville, Ind., to Michael K. Whitaker and Shanda Catlett Kelly.

He was a seventh-grader at North Putnam Middle School.

Jackson had a big heart, full of love. He enjoyed his family and friends, video games and Minecraft books.

Jackson is survived by his father, Michael (Donna) Whitaker of Bainbridge; his mother, Shanda (Daniel) Kelly of Roachdale; his brother, Cody Whitaker of Brownsburg, as well as several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is also survived by his grandparents, Jim (Norma) Whitaker of Roachdale, Mike (Kim) Catlett of Indianapolis, and Tim (Shannon) Kinney of Indianapolis.

The family will greet friends and relatives on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Roachdale Baptist Church at 10 N. Lanoke St.

There will be private family services with burial to follow in Bainbridge Cemetery with Pastor Shannon Ivers officiating.
