Tiger Cubs earn win against Eagles, Warriors

The Greencastle girls' golf team took on county rival South Putnam as well as Danville Thursday and walked away victorious meeting a score of 213. While South Putnam did not record a score due to an insufficient number of golfers, Danville earned second with 242.

Lokysa Scheuermann was the medalist with a 46 for Greencastle. The Lady Tiger Cubs were looking comfortable on their home course with Alexa Newlin shooting a 52, Macey Masten a 57, Alex Weliever with 58, Lindsey Bridgewater with 60 and Gabby Selvia with 70.

Alicia Haywood earned a 55 for South Putnam while Christie Wood earned 75.

Greencastle's next match is Wednesday at home against West Vigo and South Putnam will play next at Monrovia on Wednesday.
