Greencastle pair arrested on five drug-related charges each

Tuesday, September 1, 2015

A little erratic Sunday night driving and an alert fellow motorist ultimately led to the arrest of two Greencastle residents on five drug-related charges apiece, Greencastle City Police reported.

Following up on a cell phone call about a vehicle being driven erratically Sunday night, Capt. Charles Inman pulled over a Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Danell Rose Reno, 40, Greencastle, at 11:21 p.m.

The caller had reportedly followed the vehicle northbound out of Cloverdale, telling authorities it was "all over the road" as it approached Greencastle.

Capt. Inman stopped the car on Washington Street, just before it reached the couple's 310 W. Washington St., apartment destination. He arrested the driver and her companion, Isaac Cohen-Goforth, 36, Greencastle, on identical charges of:

-- Possession of heroin.

-- Possession of a controlled substance.

-- Possession of a syringe.

-- Possession of marijuana.

-- Reckless possession of paraphernalia.

Cohen-Goforth and Reno were both lodged in the Putnam County Jail, held on $10,000 bond.

Reno was also cited by Capt. Inman for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.
