Robert L. Robinson

Robert L. Robinson, 59, of Belle Union, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 at Hendricks Regional Health Hospital.

Born July 26, 1956 in Greencastle, Bob was the son of the late Willard L. and Johnnie L. (Wilson) Robinson.

He married Tami S. (Salsman) Robinson on Sept. 20, 1975, and she survives.

A lifelong, avid Cincinnati Reds fan, Bob loved baseball and coached hundreds of children in more than 20 years at Belle Union.

Most of all he loved his family more than any amount of words can describe.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Heather Perkins and husband John, Greencastle, Heath Robinson and spouse Mark Houser, Bloomington, and Tanner Robinson, Belle Union; grandchildren Harper, Johnna and Porter Perkins and Avery Anders Houser.

Also surviving are his siblings, Pam Loftis and husband Don, Madison, Tenn., Thomas Robinson and wife Crystal, Tarboro, N.C., and James Robinson, Danville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 3 from 4-7 p.m.

Burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
