Diana Ruth (Meyers) Parker, 64, a resident of Midland City, Ala., passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015.

Diana was born Dec. 5, 1950 in Beech Grove, Ind., to Fred and Vivian Meyers (Mugg), who preceded her in death.

Diana grew up on Cloverdale and Quincy, graduating from Cloverdale High School in 1968 and from Indiana State University.

She was employed at IU School of Law in Indianapolis prior to moving to Midland City in 1986.

She worked in admissions administration at Troy University's Dothan, Ala., campus for more than 20 years.

Diana was a member of Memphis Baptist Church in Dothan.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Parker; her brother, Fred (Nancy) Meyers, Clayton; her sister, Joanne (Rudy) Allee, Quincy; a sister-in-law, Mary Lewis, Greencastle; and several nieces and nephews.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jack Lewis, Mike Lewis, Larry Lewis and Tom Lewis.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel in Dothan, Ala., with Rev. Jim Tate and Roger Hall officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
