Howard William Breeden

Howard William Breeden, 78, of Fillmore, passed away Aug. 31, 2015 at his residence.

Howard was born in Albemarle County, Va., on Sept. 11, 1936 the son of the late William H. and Nannie W. (Powell) Breeden.

Mr. Breeden was a retired United States Army veteran, serving in Korea and Vietnam wars. He was a Bronze Star recipient.

After retiring from military service, he was a police officer for the Charlottesville Police Department, then worked as a truck driver for North American Van Lines for 27 years.

A sister and two infant children preceded him in death.

Howard is survived by his wife, Anne (Clayphan) Breeden, and sons Terry L. and Kenneth W. Breeden.

There will be no services.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials.
