Janice Shoup Bonelli

Janice Shoup Bonelli, 88, passed away Sunday, Sept. 6 at American Village in Indianapolis after a long and wonderful life.

Born Oct. 29, 1926 in Monon, Ind., to Anna Mae and Wilbur J. Wilson, she and her first husband, Dale, raised four sons in Greencastle and then retired to Central Florida in the late 1970s. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded by her second husband, Salvatore Bonelli; her brother, Robert Wilson; and a grandson, Eric Shoup.

Her sister, Emojean McDonald, Visalia, Calif., survives, as do her four sons, Steven, New York City, Greg (Pamela) Hutto, Texas, Mark (Cathy), Indianapolis, and Scott (Beth) Tampa; and four grandchildren, Brad, Jeff, Alex and Shelby.

A nurse, she was active in her PEO chapters in both Kissimmee and Greencastle.

During her time in Greencastle, she was also active with the Putnam County Hospital Guild.

A private memorial service will be held.
