Birt-Flegal Engagement

Jerry and Karen Birt are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Kayla Birt to Chris Flegal. He is the son of Kim Flegal of Carlisle, Pa., and Tim and Tammy Flegal of Corolla,N.C.

Kayla is a 2007 graduate of Greencastle High School, a 2011 graduate of Taylor University and received her Masters of Library Science from Indiana University in 2013. She is employed at DePauw University.

Chris is a 2004 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School in Pennsylvania and a 2008 graduate of Greenville College in Greenville, Ill. He was previously employed at Mountainside Ski & Sports in Mechanicsburg, Pa., which is where the couple first met.

The wedding will be held at Deer Creek Farm in Greencastle on Oct. 24, 2015.

After the wedding the couple plans to reside in Greencastle.
