Area 30 hosts annual Putnam College Fair Monday

Area 30 Career Center will host its annual Putnam County Area College Fair on Monday, Sept. 21.

The 5:30-7 p.m. College Fair will be staged at the Dixie Chopper Hotel and Conference Center at the Putnam County Airport and offers a chance for students to explore opportunities available to them in preparing for their futures with more than 45 colleges and universities attending, as well as Putnam County Foundation assisting with scholarship opportunities.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Students can meet with representatives from Indiana University, Purdue University, Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, Indiana State University, Vincennes University, Ball State University, DePauw University, Franklin College, Hanover College, Ivy Tech Community College, Lincoln College of Technology, Ohio Technical College, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Trine University, University of Indianapolis, University of Southern Indiana and more.

Attendance at the fair provides an opportunity to talk to representatives concerning admissions, programs of study, financial aid, scholarships, student life, etc.
