The Tech Help Desk has a computer technician available to give one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices, and can help diagnose and repair computers and devices.

Tuesday, Sept. 22

National Hobbit Day, 10:30 a.m.-noon

Sept. 22 is celebrated as the birthdays of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, two fictional characters from J.R.R. Tolkien's popular books The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Visit the library to celebrate the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee and Gollum with snippets from Tolkien's stories, games, snacks and more Bring your favorite Lord of the Rings or Hobbit Lego sets to display.

Baby Time, 10:30-11 a.m.

Sing songs, read stories, play with toys, talk, and laugh with baby. Caregivers receive a free Starbucks beverage after 10 sessions. Birth through crawlers.

Thursday, Sept. 24

Tech Help Desk, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Toddler Time, 10-10:30 a.m.

Sing songs, hear stories and nursery rhymes, move around to music and action songs, and make a craft.

Pre-K Prime Time, 11-11:45 a.m.

Hear theme-based stories, move around and sing action songs, make a craft, and have a small snack.

Friday, Sept. 25

Family Quiet Time in the Imagination Portal, 9 a.m.-noon

Saturday, Sept. 26

Time Travelin' Genealogy Guild, 10 a.m.-noon

Workshop on Lineage Research. Visit the Local History and Genealogy for help with research. This will be a work session with guidance from the staff genealogist. Use the library's subscription of ancestry.com and other online tools to track down ancestors.

Pokemon League, 1-2 p.m.

Feature and Feast, 2-3 p.m.

To ensure there is enough food for participation, patrons are encouraged to sign up for the fall program. This program will feature a taste of American culture by celebrating food holidays in the United States. Youth of all ages are encouraged to participate. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
