South 43 boil order lifted

The Boil Order for South 43 Water Association customers was lifted around mid-morning Tuesday, the association announced in a statement.

Test results have confirmed the water is safe to drink, according to the statement.

The order had been in effect since Monday due to a drop in chlorination levels.

South 43 Water Association Inc. is a not-for-profit water utility serving customers in an area south of Greencastle and an area north of Greencastle. South 43 purchases all of the water it distributes from Greencastle Municipal Utility.
