New Maysville Church to host third annual Soup and Song Fest

NEW MAYSVILLE -- The annual Soup and Song Fest will take place from noon-5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 at the New Maysville Community Church.

There will be ham and beans as well as chili, along with cornbread and all the fixins with desserts and drinks.

The community event will also feature music from Bobbie Lancaster, Covered Bridge Harmony Chorus, Clint Pitts and Melissa Claycomb.

The afternoon of food and fellowship is an effort to rekindle the New Maysville Reunion of yesteryear. Bring lawn chairs and enjoy the day.

New Maysville Community Church, established in 1839, is located at 6817 E. CR 900 North, Roachdale.
