GCC to host free gospel sing for fledgling Christian camp

Tuesday, October 6, 2015

In association with The R.O.C.K. Camp and Outreach Center, Greencastle Christian Church will host a free gospel sing at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The event will feature five acts, headlined by performances from Bobbie Lancaster, Wesley Gray and the Barnett Trio.

The free show will feature a presentation on The R.O.C.K. Camp as well as an opportunity to donate to the organization.

Founded in 2011 as a 501c3 non-profit organization, The R.O.C.K. is the ministry of Erik and Anna Foster, who own 71 acres of land along U.S. 231 south of Cloverdale.

Although the camp remains in the planning and fundraising stages the goal is to provide an unaffiliated, non-denominational place for Christ-center youth camps, family camps, sporting programs and marriage, singles and men's and women's retreats, among other events.

For more information about the gospel sing or about The R.O.C.K., call Erik Foster at 317-306-5014 or visit www.therockgroupcamp.org.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the concert. Greencastle Christian Church is located at 620 Primrose Lane, Greencastle.
