State Road 75 closing in Hendricks for 5 days

Tuesday, October 6, 2015

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced that State Road 75 between Jamestown and North Salem in Hendricks County will close Tuesday, Oct. 13 for five days.

The closure is for the contractor to place riprap, approximately two miles south of Jamestown.

It is the area on State Road 75 that closed earlier this year when the embankment failed on the east side of the roadway.

Weather permitting, the work should be completed by Saturday, Oct. 17 and the roadway reopened.

The detour follows State Road 75 north to I-74 east to State Road 39 south to State Road 236 west and back to 75. Traffic traveling in the opposite direction will use the same detour in reverse.
