CHS volleyball wins at home

CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale volleyball team looked to be in good shape when Eminence came to town. CHS picked up a win in three straight sets by the scores of 25-12, 25-15 and 25-16.

Cloverdale has had a tough time of late losing two last week, however Clover coach Kathy Moore has said her team is moving in the right direction as the end of the season approaches.

"It was a little hard to tell tonight," Moore said. "The passes weren't the way I want them to be. It's a process. I'll know a little more Thursday night. Riverton Parke runs a faster offense."

CHS has five more games until the WIC crossover game, not counting the Cadet Invitational.

That should give Moore and the Clovers time to work the process a bit more.

"It was a nice win for us tonight," Moore said. "I thought we served very well with 20 aces. We will continue to work on our passing and reduction of errors. Thursday night is our Pink Out night against Riverton Parke. We want to encourage everyone to wear pink to the match."
