America's Best survey input sought for Greencastle

Monday, October 12, 2015

Greencastle has been selected to take part in America's Best Communities (ABC) competition and has achieved quarterfinalist status.

America's Best Communities provides financial incentives to the City of Greencastle to foster art and music programs, a talented workforce, new investment, a vibrant downtown and more.

Before getting the program off the ground, the local ABC coordinating team wants to hear from local residents, gathering their input on three key topics:

(1) The quality of life features of the community.

(2) How they spend their time.

(3) Community participation.

The survey is intended for individuals who are residents of Putnam County or are employed in Putnam County.

Attached is a link to the survey -- https://purdue.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8IIfUCzYqbQeCnX -- soliciting input for that will help guide Greencastle's next submission in the America's Best Communities competition.

"As you are willing and able," Mayor Sue Murray asked, "send this out to your email contact list and ask everyone to complete it and share it as well."

The survey will be available for only a few short weeks.
