Gleaners mobile pantry coming to Bainbridge

BAINBRIDGE -- Gleaners Food Bank will bring its mobile pantry truck to the parking lot of the Bainbridge Community Building from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Oct. 24.

There is no age eligibility requirement. This is simply food distribution for those in need.

Participants are asked to bring their own boxes or food bags and to dress according to the weather, as food delivery will take place outside, directly from the truck.

Volunteers are asked to arrive by 9 a.m. to assist the truck drive. For information, persons may call Bainbridge Town Hall at 522-6238.

This new mobile delivery program will be repeated on a monthly basis.
