Anthony Rossok

Anthony Rossok was born on Oct. 10, 1997 to Kim and Derek Rossok. In addition to wide receiver on the Tiger Cub football team, Rossok also pitches for the baseball team.

He enjoys watching sports movies and horror movies. Rossok's favorite sports movie is "When the Game Stands Tall."

Rossok enjoys Mexican food and his favorite NFL players are Odell Beckham Jr and Andre Johnson.

Banner Graphic: What is it like being a senior on this team?

Anthony Rossok: It takes leadership. It's different when you are a senior because it's your last ride. It's kind of heartbreaking because it's the last year of playing the sport.

BG: What is the main difference between football and baseball?

AR: Football is more of a team sports. Baseball is individualized but it takes a team to do it. (In football) it takes everyone. One 11.

BG: Who are some of your biggest supporters off the field?

AR: My parents. They always come to the games and support me in everything I do.

BG: What is your favorite thing about your teammates?

AR: They're my best friends. We do everything together.

BG: What is your favorite thing about baseball?

AR: Pitching. It's just you and only you on the mound. You decide what happens.

BG: What is your favorite thing about football?

AR: Being with friends and catching some passes.

BG: What is the most difficult thing in your opinion about football?

AR: Blocking sometimes. I hate blocking.

BG: What are some of your best memories playing at Greencastle?

AR: In baseball it was winning the first game of the sectional last year. This year in football it was catching my first TD pass at Cloverdale. It felt amazing to be in the end zone.

BG: What are your post-high school plans?

AR: I hope to go to college to be an elementary (education) major and hopefully I can play baseball.

BG: What interests you about teaching?

AR: I've always wanted to be a teacher since my second-grade year. I've always wanted to teach. I love little kids and they love me.
