County Jail

One person was booked into the Putnam County Jail Thursday evening.

* At 8:45 p.m. Cyle Andrew Duncan, 31, Coatesville, was lodged at the jail for violation of home detention.

Sheriff's Department

Putnam County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to one recent auto accident.

* At 6:09 p.m. on Wednesday, Nancy Gilson, 59, Fillmore, was westbound on State Road 240, just west of County Road 450 East in a 2014 Toyota Yaris.

Gilson told Deputy Virgil Lanning she is diabetic and had a low blood sugar attack. Her car left the right side of the road, hit a fence and came to rest in a grass field.

Operation Life medics helped Gilson raise her blood sugar level and she signed a statement of release.

Gilson's car was towed. Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department assisted with one medical run and responded to one other dispatch recently.

* At 9:47 a.m. Friday, GFD investigated a fire alarm at 505 S. Jackson St. The alarm was caused by cooking.
