Clovers and Candy

Sunday, October 25, 2015
Lita Sandy served as parade marshal for the inaugural Cloverween event Saturday. Sandy and husband, Brad, were dressed up for the Halloween-themed festivities as Wizard of Oz's Dorothy and Scarecrow. The afternoon parade saw some rain, but the route was packed with spectators. (Banner Graphic/Sabrina Westfall)

Several Cloverdale High School student organizations used Cloverween as a fundraising opportunity. Isaac Newkirk, 6, participated in CHS Class of 2018 "Claws of Carnage" game. More than 20 vendors were set up in the CHS parking lot selling mostly handmade goods. Live music and a comedian also kept visitors entertained. See more photos in the gallery.
