Judy K. Rogers

Judy K. Rogers, 71, Greencastle, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 at her residence.

She was born Dec. 16, 1943 in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of the late George and Lucille (Klave) Thomas.

She is survived by her children, Dianna Hayman and husband Dave, Cloverdale, and Jim Painter, Greencastle; grandchildren Chris Scott, Danielle Painter and Lori Hayman; nine great-grandchildren; her siblings, Ellen Adams, Indianapolis, George Thomas and wife Nancy, Freedom, and Steve Thomas, Columbus; stepmother Loretta Thomas; stepbrothers, Gary and Donnie Wechsler, Greenwood; aunt Joanne Marshall, Greenwood, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Many other special people who called her mom and grandma, especially Debbie and Jim Alexander who helped get back and forth with her cancer treatments.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from noon until service time.

In lieu of flowers, please write a memory for the grandchildren to add to the family book.

Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Putnam County Oncology Department, the American Cancer Society or any Down Syndrome Organization.
