Putnamville area under boil order

Thursday, November 12, 2015

A boil order is in effect for South 43 Water Association customers in the Putnamville area until further notice.

Workers had to shut off water on Thursday morning to repair a leak at County Road 550 South. This means customers on 550 South, County Road 75 West and all of Putnamville are affected.

The boil order will be necessary for these customers until further notice.

A boil order means you should boil any cooking or drinking water for several minutes before using or consuming.

South 43 Water Association, Inc. is a not-for-profit water utility serving customers in an area south of Greencastle and an area north of Greencastle. South 43 purchases all of the water it distributes from Greencastle Municipal Utilities.
