The South Putnam FFA chapter recently had two members, Ryan Cole and Jesse Robinson, place third nationally for a power, structural and technical systems demonstration.

When asked how they felt about placing third responded with immense pride.

"It was one of the most successful things I have done all my life," Robinson said.

Cole added, "I had a feeling of tremendous relief that all of our work and dedication paid off."

The two had been working on this project for four months. Their demonstration consisted of testing different species of wood to assess how much weight each could hold. The analysis showed their wood held its own, earning them third place.

Cole and Robinson also added they could not have done any of this without their dedicated advisor Amanda King, Karen Heavin, friends and their family. They both claimed that everybody's support helped push them to try their best, especially from King.
