The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority has made the following tax incentives available to anyone who pays Indiana state taxes, giving them the opportunity to profoundly impact the community while also gaining significant tax credits and benefits.

A gift of $100, for example, to "Strings for Kids" costs the donor $25, but affords a child the priceless opportunity to experience the confidence building and joy of making music.

Here's how it works:

Donation Amount and Real Impact $100$1,000$2,000$3,000$5,000$10,000
Indiana Tax Credit $50$500$1,000$1,500$2,500$5,000

Approximate Return $75$750$1,500$2,250$3,750$7,500
Bottom Line Out-of-Pocket Expense $25$250$500$750$1,250$2,500
