Sunday, November 22, 2015

Myers 5 East, a new event space launching in Greencastle during the 2015 Holiday Season, will host a "pop-up shop" for holiday shoppers on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 4-9 p.m.

Planned to coincide with Small Business Saturday, the Vintage and Handmade Pop-Up Shop will feature offerings from local vendors.

Five vendors were selected for the event, with the range of products including handmade pottery, jewelry, soft goods and decor.

Featured vendors include: One of a Kind Pottery by Mark McKee, Designs by Dessa (Frank), Primitive Decor by Darlene (Daniels), SHEMADETHAT by Trish Ison, and Junk Revival by Angela Huff.

Visitors to the holiday pop-up shop not only will have an opportunity to preview the new event space, but also sample sweet treats that will be available via the Myers 5 East catering menu.

Myers 5 East staff will be on hand to book holiday and 2016 events.

Located at 5 E. Franklin St., Myers 5 East occupies the former Chief's restaurant building.

Having revamped the space and added additional seating, Mitch Myers, owner of Myers 5 East, has made the venue available to rent for meetings and events such as parties, dinners and wedding and baby showers. On-site catering is available.
