Just in time for the holidays, Patricia Hoopengarner, Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry Board vice president, wheels in a hand cart loaded with donated food items Tuesday. That, however, was just a small portion of the wealth of food items collected -- some 1,500 in all -- and received Tuesday afternoon at the Food Pantry, located at the Beyond Homeless Shelter, 309 E. Franklin St., Greencastle. The items came from a Putnam County Hospital employee contest donation.
